Anybody that’s been following this site for a while will probably know that I REALLY like to ski and snowboard. As well as photography and filming, snow sports are one of my biggest passions. Whether I’m in the middle of a ski season in the heart of the rocky mountains, or doing the three hour round trip to slide down the the indoor slope at Hemel Hempstead, I’m rarely happier than when I’m on the snow. Well, now I’m bringing that love of skiing and snowboarding to my filming, video production and photography!
I’ve teamed up with Ski Press, a specialist PR and Marketing company dedicated entirely to the ski and snowboard industry. If ever a product or service is related to winter sports, Ski Press can help with its promotion. They don’t just work with the obvious companies- the ski and snowboard manufacturers- they also work with snow sports related property companies, software companies, ski and snowboard schools, clothing manufacturers, resorts, skiing and snowboarding holiday companies; pretty much anyone related to the snow sports industry.
Ski Press work hard to maintain their strong links with the key people in the snow sports industry, both in the UK and into Europe, North America and Australasia. This allows them to write and successfully distribute articles and press releases related to new and exciting products and services coming into skiing and snowboarding. They also effectively promote brands through the now vital use of social media. But Ski Press are now going one stage further and this is where I come in!
I’m now teaming up with Ski Press to start providing professional filming, video production and photography, tailored specifically to the snow sports industry. Between Ski Press’ strong and wide-reaching links to the decision makers in the UK and international skiing and snowboarding industries, and my knowledge of video production and photography, we’re really excited about producing some great video and photo content. My passion for skiing and snowboarding is no secret, and the guys at Ski Press have over 20 years of experience and love of the ski and snowboard industry. We think that this is really important and puts us in a great position. We’re not just in it for the money, we genuinely love snow sports and I hope that the videos and photos that we produce, reflect this.
So, it was with an awful lot of excitement that, in the middle of September, a time when there aren’t very many ski-able places on the planet, I packed my skis and camera gear and joined Robert Stewart, the Director of Ski Press, in Saas Fee, Switzerland, to put together a little teaser of what we have to offer.
