Charity & Travel

Professional video production and photography is just as important to charity organisations as it is to businesses; maybe even more important. If people cannot find your charity, they will not know about your work, will not make donations and will not volunteer to help the charity’s cause. The problem is that professional photography and video production is often out of the financial reaches of charities, especially the smaller ones.

Now I’m not looking to become a millionaire. I became a photographer and videographer because I love what I do and I believe that even the smallest charities should have access to the same, professional quality of photography and video coverage that commercial businesses have. I therefore split my time between commercial work and non-profit-making work for charity organisations, both in the UK and abroad. I will always work hard with the charity to figure out how I can cover this work at the absolute minimum of cost to their organisation; ideally for free.

To do this, I use the money from my everyday commercial jobs to cover as much of the cost as possible of the charity photography and filming. As such, if anyone associated with the charity can pass me on to a commercial business, I can use the profit made from this to cover the costs of filming and photographing the charity’s work. The commercial business gets the same professional quality of video production and photography that they would receive from other video production companies (or maybe even better!) at a very competitive rate. By choosing to commission me however, they also help charities to receive the vital exposure that is the lifeblood of their organisations.

For overseas charities, I may not be able to visit your organisation alone as the cost of travel may be prohibitive. However, if you’re able to contact or help me find several other charities in your local area that would also benefit from video and photo coverage, I can visit many organisations in one trip, keeping the costs down. I keep all interested charities on file and, when there are enough in one location, will make a trip to visit them all.

If you work for or know of a charity, either in the UK or abroad, that could benefit from my video production or photography services, don’t hesitate to get in touch via the contact page or drop me an email at info@rossfairgrievecom.
